Accenture closes Mjølner Informatics acquisition in Denmark

What changed
Accenture said it closed the purchase of Mjølner Informatics from Norlys and that all required regulatory approvals have been received. Roughly 400 professionals from the Danish company have joined Accenture, expanding its presence across Denmark.
The company said the deal adds software engineering, digital engineering and embedded software development capabilities. Accenture framed the addition as support for clients in energy and utilities and manufacturing, Mjølner's stated areas of industry depth.
The acquired business
Mjølner Informatics was founded in 1988 and delivers end-to-end digital solutions. It is headquartered in Aarhus and has offices in Silkeborg, Fredericia, Copenhagen and Madrid, according to the announcement.
Accenture said the transaction also strengthens its strategic relationship with Norlys. Under the expanded collaboration, Accenture will continue providing digital development and IT services supporting Norlys' business and technology transformation, the company said.
