What the business group covers
Accenture and Dell Technologies said they are expanding a collaboration of more than 20 years by forming the Accenture Dell Business Group. The unit is intended to help organizations scale AI inside their own environments and modernize infrastructure, with the companies citing greater data control, more predictable economics and performance for enterprise-grade agentic AI workloads.
The group builds on prior work in financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, industrials and high-tech. Offerings include private AI and neocloud solutions built on Dell's portfolio with lifecycle services from both firms, integrated private AI stack offerings for agentic AI and high-performance computing, agentic use cases and accelerators, and support for open source and open-weight models.
Staffing and sovereign cloud work
To support the group, Accenture plans to train more than 3,000 practitioners across the Dell portfolio. That figure describes a planned training effort rather than completed certification.
The companies also said they are contributing to UK-based AI infrastructure provider RHAELM to accelerate delivery of sovereign cloud solutions focused on secure, compliant operations. The group is positioned to deploy AI on private infrastructure, drawing on relationships with sovereign and neocloud providers, the companies said.
Enterprise context
The announcement targets enterprises weighing cloud strategies against on-premises AI infrastructure, particularly in highly regulated industries. Accenture reported approximately 814,000 people, about 9,000 clients and approximately $74 billion in FY26 revenue. The companies framed the group as a way to align technology investments with business outcomes, though the release did not disclose financial terms or a delivery timetable.
